We welcome you to the webpage of Mary, Undoer of Knots Chapter of Magnificat in Sioux City/Northwest Iowa. These are exciting times that we live in and Magnificat was begun in 1981 for such a time as this. There are now over 100 chapters throughout the United States and its territories and in many foreign countries.

Marion Amberg

America’s Catholic storyteller, Marion Amberg is an award-winning book author and journalist. She is known by publishers for her sense of the unique and for her engaging writing style. While researching “Mary’s Miracles: A Traveler’s Guide to Catholic America” (OSV), she discovered a Marian miracle in her ancestral town of Amberg, Germany. Had it not been for Mary’s intervention at Amberg during the Black Plague of 1634, she might not be here today.

Marion grew up on a farm near Morris, Minnesota, and currently lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Rosary Blanket of Prayer

Remember our chapter’s commitment to Eucharistic Adoration and to pray the Rosary on the 12th of each month for the intentions of Magnificat, Sanctity of Life, Marriage and Family, and World Peace.
